This is an outstanding country venue that can accommodate up to 24 guests onsite (20 in the main house in 11 bedrooms, and 4 in a cottage in the gardens), while there is a wide selection of hotels in nearby Almuñecar as well. It has been painstakingly restored throughout to reflect its Moorish heritage and its atmosphere and outstanding historical features, including some of the original furniture, Sevillian wall tiles etc. The ornamental Moorish gardens are stunningly maintained and offer guests the opportunity to wander or relax in total peace and tranquillity. Surrounded by centuries old palm trees, shady borders and colourful exotic plants, plus ancient cypress hedges border an attractive swimming pool that is fed by a natural spring. There are several terraces and a sizeable outside eating and bar area – all of which is surrounded by unspoilt views of the hillside and valley. It is a truly memorable place to hold your special day.
The gardens and terraces can accommodate up to 110 guests comfortably for the reception. The Chapel will seat up to 45 and a maximum attendance of 70 persons (the remainder standing). It is also possible to arrange as much or as little of the event through wedding co-ordinators who will be pleased to help with all aspects of the day. Palacete de Cazulas is situated 20km from the seaside town of Almuñecar in Andalucia, Spain. It is only 55km from Granada airport, and 100km from Malaga airport. As well being only half an hour from the nearest beach, visitors to this region should also visit Granada with its dramatic Alhambra Palace (1 hour’s drive), and the ski resort of Sol y Nieve in the Sierra Nevada is only 1.5 hours away. There is also a huge choice of local sports, from deep sea diving on the coast to hangliding in the mountains which should be more than enough to occupy your guests in the run up to, or a few days after, your celebration.
