Unrelated, but coincidentally just down the road, Villa Lydia is a beautiful little village house. Located in the village of Smoljanci, just 3km from Svetvincenat, on the road for Rovinj. The little town of Svetvincenat is famous for its medieval Castle (Grimani Morosini), the best preserved in Istria, as well as for its renaissance central square. Built at the beginning of 20th century, it was renovated in 2002, retaining its character whilst providing all modern conveniences. The first floor gallery of 15m2 was built some 80 years ago and is protected from the sun by an 80 year old vine that still produces Istrian malvasia wine grapes - you're welcome to try at any time!
